Kustom '36 coupe

We played a gig last night at a smallish place and brought out some combo's rather than our full rigs and I usd my other guitar player's Kustom '36 coupe, od808 and my podxt live in the loop for fx. Honestly, the thing sounded pretty heavy I felt like it should've been a bit louder for 36w/2 6L6s (didn't have it cranked but like 2-3 o'clock on the master which I'd have expected to be LOUD) but it rocked anyways. These things are a pretty good deal too for what they are, hadn't played any recent kustom gear at all and was pleasantly surprised.

A friend of mine uses a Kustom combo for a cover band and really digs it. I think changed tubes to some KT-? (I can't recall which), and really digs it for classic rock and blues.

I don't know that it could do metal very well w/o and EQ but blues through hard rock it could do easily, IMO. Pretty solid bottom end for an open-back combo also, IMO.
