Friend brought over a Rockett Archer Icon to compare with the V(e) Merman.
I adjusted the internal voltage and the two pedals became more similar. But they are always somewhat different.
Archer does get cleaner.
Merman has way more range and control. A lot more tone control. More or less compression. Capable of making a distorted amp very aggressive.
Both pedals are excellent. But I prefer the extended range.
