Don't misunderstand, I know they're awesome, just would like to hear it at blasting volumes so I could compare to how the Marsha sounds at the same levels ( which is pretty terrific )
I was seriously clipping the Q3 but did not want to use the low gain setting so it was not blasting but way about tv volumes. My guitar was 1' from the Q3 so yeah the pick was captured.
No offence taken but this amp is nothing like the Friedman, two different amps

I will step out on a ledge though and state that the Friedman, or any other modded marshall amp, will not come close to this in the modern metal department. The amp is so tight you could play it as a percussive instrument.
I have Lolzgreg coming over next Friday and while he is teaching me Cubase4 maybe we will throw out a demo of several of my marshalls getting buried. I love my Cali marshall too so yeah I am bashing my own amp
