LEF Custom guitars… who’s got one?

Hey all,

I’ve been eyeing the LEF stuff for a good 5 years at least. I know a few folks that have owned some and speak very highly of the builds.

I’m likely ordering an Extreme Warrior and working through specs now. Here’s some porn of a few he’s built in the past…

So yeah… anyone here an owner? If so, what are/were your thoughts?

Not my cup of tea, but those tops with the natural binding and neck construction is beautimus.

Do not do it. The guitars do not feel good. They are pretty, but there is a reason they always come up for sale used. Not only that, but the builder is not a trustworthy person.

They sent me a guitar with a warped neck and cracks running through the body and tried to gig me out of every dollar they could through the process and was a total ass throughout as well.

Not a trustworthy person.

Cool looking guitars, but that is definitely it.

IDK about these; but I considered a Monson guitar...never went through with it though, but I dig several of their models:

This is the model I almost purchased (Berserker I decided it was already close to what I have with my Jackson Warriors and my BC Rich Schuldiner Stealth so I passed.

$2600 for the build in looking at.

Interesting… you’re the first person that’s had a horror story to share. My buddy has had 3 that he said were excellent builds.

Yours was a new build? Any pics? I’m going to PM you.
