An absolute beast. This is Eddy's higher gain mod in one of the best donors around, a 1978 100W JMP. Nothing beats the vintage iron. This one started out as a prototype for Eddy's Hot Chili mod, and he later custom modded it to add a tube fx loop and conversion to an Octane. The volumes on the fx loop act as additional master volumes, so can really shape the sound and dynamics. This thing roars. Only moving because I'm swimming in modded Marshalls

$2,700 shipped PayPal F&F; $2,800 shipped PayPal G&S. No trades please.

Per Eddy: The OCTANE is a 100W EL34 single-channel METAL amplifier with a tube FX loop. It has a modern voicing designed with Metal players in mind. You can dial in the amount of low end in the preamp stages, which can get you a tighter or bigger, wall of sound type tone. In conjunction with the “boost” and “tight” switches, you can choose whether you go for a tight Metal tone without the need for a boost pedal, or dial in a fatter tone that’s too big and boomy by itself and then hit it with a boost pedal, as you would do with a Rectifier
