Been on vacation, haven't played in over a week. Nice to be home.
SD Antiquity neck & ToneNerd Roxy bridge pups. Kinda searching for that swanky Jimmy Page tone. Neck vol at 5, tone at 10. Messing with bridge vol and tone. Full on around 2:10. Dig the stuff at 0:45-1:15.

My understanding for the JP sound is middle position, bridge pu vol turned down, neck pu vol higher…

Guess I was doing it backwards. I'll have to try that. I always thought: neck rolled back for cleans, bridge up a bit in middle position for rhythm, bridge full on for lead.
The tone knobs do so much when in the middle position. All 4 knobs are quite interactive, providing all kinds of nuance.
I really noticed this on the 335.

Something a PRS or Suhr Modern can't do.

Sounded good but reminded me of of Jerry than Jimmy.

My fav with my BB pros is bridge Vol 3 tone 5. Neck vol 6 tone 6

Gives me a nice fat blues tone

Jerry Reed?! Sweet! Lol

The BB Pros in the Silverburst LP I had exceeded my expectations, based on specs and what I've read on the forums.
I'll give those settings a shot.

Vol at 3 on my LP is great. Everything happens in between 10-6 with the pots used on newer Gibsons. 3 on my 2016 Explorer or the 335 I had would be all but off.
