Got this tape for Xmas when it first came out.
Recently bought the CD and just forgot HOW BAD ASS this is!
Seriously one of the shifters into making me want to play guitar.
Everything is just perfect. Tone... riffs.... leads....
Anyone else feeling it? :D

Some of that was from San Diego, i remember that show. Fire marshal came on stage and almost stopped the show. The crowd was crazy. They were an awesome live act

I I got Worldwide Live and Live After Death by Maiden when I was 16. Still my two favorite live albums three decades later.

Yeah, me, too (I was 14). Both influenced me greatly... same year I started playing... I still listen to both and am still blown away.

I've seen Scorpions several times and they always put on a GREAT show. IMHO, both Jabs and R. Schenker are both underrated. So many awesome licks, such tight rhythms, and I've always loved the interplay between the two. Meine, all of them, just stellar musicians!

I think my favorite part is Holiday, where it's a German band playing to a French audience who are singing along in English. Although it was 5 years after World Wide Live, I saw them on the Crazy World tour and Winds of Change was just a whole other level. I still get goose bumps thinking about it.

Seen them last year.
They haven’t lost a step.
Still hitting all the notes

Man, I LOVE that song! Both the live and studio versions... Lovedrive is one of my favorites. Doesn't Michael Schenker play on the studio version, too?

The Strat Jabs was playing. My dream guitar.
When I was collecting guitars back in the early 90s I owned one of his Gibson custom explorers.
Verified by Gibson. It was beat to hell!!  Sold it foolishly. Like the other 300 I had.
This was way before forum street cred. :D

They came out when I was 15 but did not get them right away.

Bought WWL the day it was released in June of 85 , in those days I bought everything the day it was released. Then saw the tour in August at Oakland Stadium , Yngwie,Metallica,Y&T & Ratt were also on the bill . It was one heck of a concert
