Have you ever played one? I borrowed one from a buddy and it was awesome. I don't like stainless steel frets but other than that it was close to perfect.

The PPIV master messes with all of the tone controls at lower volumes.

This is why I prefer using a simple Jose master with some minor clipping diodes (like 20-25 volts). It doesn’t affect the tone controls and sounds way more natural than the PPIV master and even most attenuators.

Fair enough. I can agree.

I will say though that their gig bags are really protective and I'd guess they'd win in a drop test - but they'd lose in a puncture test.
