i use evidence, but im sure mogami are fine to..hell if there good enough for petrucci, there good enough for my half as talented ass.. :lol: :LOL:
 
I put up a thread about my test between my cables and nobody replied to it so I guessed that nobody used the cables I did. Of the 3 I have, George Ls, Dimarzio standard braided and the Bullet Cable sparkplug guitar cable, the Bullet is my favorite. The GL just sounds very transparent and the DiMarzio is great as well. I think mid-ranged cables are good enough for me, but I wouldn't mind getting a good Mogami one if not just on internet/forum hype alone lol.
 
If you're picky about your cables, buy some Canare and some G&H ends and a soldering iron. Or Gepco XB20 cable... save some money and make your own. Plus if you have a cable get damaged, you can fix it yourself. DIY for the win...

I've always made my own....get them in whatever length I want :p

The thing I am looking at with cables at the moment is the best way to cable balanced to unbalanced units or vice versa. Any views? So far looks like twisted pair shielded cable is the way to go with the end terminations dependant on whether the gear is balanced or not.

I use George L's for amp selector switching, pedal board and instrument cable. I use Monster Cable for speaker cable, from heads to cabs. I really never put much thought into cables until I switched to George L's. I like they are super easy to make and cut to custom lengths so I tried it just on my pedal board first. I noticed an improvement right away on the pedal board, tone seemed to be a little bit more alive so then decided to do the amp selector that feeds four heads and another improvement there. Little if any on the instrument cable but I was using fairly decent cable there to begin with.
 
Mogami for my runs from pedalboard to amp. George L's for my patchcables on my board. Evidence for my speaker cable and Mogami and Canare from my wirless pak to guitar.
