Lickliter XD120 purple python custom

Here is some pics of my current build. It has a noise gate build in it in place of the slave out section and will be sporting a pair of KT88's and a pair of EL34's. Also it will have purple LED's on the inside and it will have a metal panel an a acrylic see thru! :D

Good lord.....that thing looks bad ass!! :shocked:
I dont normally judge an amp how it looks. But this one is the first in a long time to catch my eye. ;)

Thanks! I have put a lot of work into the design. Wait till you hear it! It should melt faces! Aggressive and brutal!

Thanks! Here is the initial prototype, but many changes to the circuit have been implemented since. It might be time to do another video of the XD120 design. It has improved considerably. Lots of tweaking and testing!

I have to say, I thought you would come and go like most new amp "builders" or guitar "luthiers." Maybe try to hype your brand, get a few orders, not deliver and scam a few thousand... You know, the thing that happens way too often these days in the guitar genre. However, you still seem to be around and with a new highly interesting build.

Have you built any amps for any customers? I know you've modded some amps people seem to be happy with.

Mike is absolutely a stand up guy and builder. I have a completely gutted and rebuilt JCM 50 watter that I got from Mike, here on the classifieds, that I will never part with. It is a fantastic sounding, hand-built amplifier. I couldn't say enough good things about Mike. Also, stellar customer service...above and beyond. :thumbsup:
 
Also, Mike...this amp is so sick looking. S'pose it's time for a new vid?
