Hey guys,

Don't know if anyone has tried to put the 2 together yet, but I know usually I've seen the Pedal Power 2 be able to power Line 6 pedals, is the G50 wireless somehow different? Maybe I'm missing something. It seems as though I can only truly power it with the supplied power supply, which is really going to make me mad hahaha. If anyone can shed some light, I would appreciate it.

I have mine running on a PP2+ with no issues. Set the unit to low power and I'm running it off either #5 or #6 on the pp2+ set to normal I think. Haven't had any issues and have been running it this way for a while. Even went threw the crowd, out the front door of the venue and down the street about half a block and had no issues. I know that there is a current doubler cable you can get from Voodoo to run the G50 at a better current and I may do that in the future, but for now it's been working rock solid after many gigs.

What is the wall wart's output current?

The PP2 can power the DL-4 when using the right output, maybe the wireless unit takes more mA to power?

Nevermind, Tweed answered it.

Randy, you have to run half a block down to escape the beer bottles thrown at you huh????

    :D

Nope, me and the other guitarist have wireless units the rest of the band does not. We just decided to leave them on stage and go outside for some air while soloing. Was damn funny and the crowd loved it

Are you using the reverse polarity cable? the one with the red tip? Just curious. Cause I'm going to have to try it again tomorrow before practice hahah.

LMAO!!! I did something similar a few years ago at this Biker club that we had a regular gig at. I had to take a piss in the middle of a set in the worst way and the bathroom was seriously occupado so I headed out the front door, turned the corner and drained the dragon and came back in. Guys outside were cracking up...

Use regular black cable in 5 or 6 dip switch in the normal postion

Thanks guys! It worked... i didn't know I had to use th4 5/6 channel on the Pedal Power for the G50... hahah brainfart. Works perfectly now though!
