Lead Channel Mid Mod
"breath" mod on the lead channel
switchable grid mod which at lower volumes makes playing easier. must to be turned off at higher volumes.
Increased the touch-gain response on all channels
revoiced the lead channel with higher grade components in a few spots.

its a screamer at higher volumes. at times i hate the damn thing at lower volumes, but overall its a great amplifier.

mid 70s: some kind of Peavey amp, later a Marshall MosFET or so
early 80s: Kitty Hawk Junior
late 80s: Mesa Boogie 22
'91 or so: Marshall 4501 and 4500 (JCM900s)
'93: Soldano HR50+ and 2204
'97: Rack with Soldano and Marshall Pres, first Peavey then VHT pwr amp
'99: Marshall DSL, JMP and SLX
02: Diezel VH4
04: Peter teaches me how to build amps . . .
05: Diezel Einstein and Herbert
09: Diezel VH4, AxeFX and VHT pwramp

Karera POS SS 1x10 (I can't believe it even made sound, it was noxious) -> gone
Peavey Ultra 212 -> sold to my other guitar player years ago
Marshall DSL40 -> sold to Music Go Round
Rivera M100 -> traded in for El Diablo
Genz Benz El Diablo 100 -> traded in for Guytron
Guytron GT100 -> Still have
Blackheart Little Giant -> Still have

I got lucky in that the Guytron is so crazy versatile (while sounding exceptional no matter how you set it) that I have had very little amp gas for the past four years now. The only amps I *have* GASed for are the Landry LS100, AxeFX and another Guytron head (the FV model this time). Otherwise, I'd say 85% of my GAS these days is guitar and FX related :)

-sound design hi fi stero-
(yup..complete with 8-track and pull out turn table...of course used the turn table dust cover to de-seed my weed!)...this was one of those huge cabinet albatrauss type stero systems that took up your entire living room!!..they were a must have back in the 70's ha!!...but it was white and had an input in the front labeled "guitar/mic"..

-crate amp-..(this was when they first came out and actually looked like and old wooden crate)

-fisher stero- hard times for the jester,..so i cut the red and white phono cord to the turn table and spliced it into my plastic guitar cord that came with my no-name brand sg...

-plush, bass amp- metallic blue,...i made my own 4x12 cab with particle board i found in back of the service merchandise,..loaded it with 2 realistic (yes,..from radio shack) 12" "instrument speakers"..never had the money to buy the other 2 speakers so i just left the empty holes for the other 2 speakers.

-marlboro-...dont rember the model,..1 - 12" speaker,..volume,bass and treble were the only controls.

-silver-(something ?)- early 70's solid state amp,..2x12,..dual channel,..had some sort of hoakey push buttons on the front.

-marshall jcm800- full of cigerette burns,..no handle,...mis-matched nobs,...but i was so proud to have a real amp!,..oh and the dude i bought it from through in a sunn 6x12 cabinet!!..it was the infinite baffle design where the speakers where mounted in a v-pattern,...with out a doubt,..the loudest cabinet i have ever heard!,..oh and it weight close to 600lbs!!

-marshall jcm 800-..no cigerette burns...and all original nobs!

-mesa stilletto-
