I'm looking to run 2 amps at once and I want to get a lower wattage head ro run with my SLO. I've been thinking about a Elmwood M60, Hot Rod 50, Avenger 50 etc. Any suggestions?

Kinda hard to give you suggestions when we have no clue what your needs are. What kind of music? What kind of amp you looking for, high-gain, clean, etc.? Otherwise I might as well recommend a Fender Champ.

Marshall JMP or 800 with or without a boost?

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but if you are running a SLO and want high gain...what do you need another amp for? Those things with a 4x12 sound massive by themselves.

Yeah, SLO is a high-gain beast from what I hear. Why do you need/want another high-gain amp to pair with it? But usually the idea is to pair two amps together that each contribute something different to the mix. For example an old JMP for clarity, mids, and treble together with a Diezel VH4 for low-end and sheer gain. And SLO is pretty aggressive and has a sort of wall-of-sound thing going on right? Maybe an amp with a tight, thumpy low end would do the trick? I don't know.

You're being kind of vague with what you're looking for here so I'mma go ahead and say you should get a Fender Champ. Like one of the old 8 watt versions. Should do the trick for... like... whatever it is you're looking for.

I've got a SLO myself. I'm into running a clean amp with a high gain amp myself, but for your situation I'd go for something on the opposite end of the tonal spectrum than the SLO. I'd seriously consider a Mesa Single Recto. Ive heard a SLO and Triple Recto together, and it was unbelievably massive and juicy.

Those are "low wattage" heads?!

If you're using both channels on the SLO make sure you have something to flip the phase on one of the two amps when you switch. The rhythm and the lead channel are out of phase on an SLO.

Giga

Just picked up an SLO and I've A/B'd it with my 50w Jubilee and KK 800..the KK and SLO give a pretty cool variation and the Jubilee + SLO is massive...but I can't help you with any other combo...

Cornford MK50HII?

What's the need for wanting a lower wattage head? 50W compared to 100W compared to 120W (5150s) or 150W (Mesa Triple) at your typical gig or rehersal is not going to sound any different. If you are diming the Master on your amps, then you can look at "lower" wattage amps.

I have the Jet City branded version of the Cornford MK50HII (Jet City Earhart), and my rhythm guitarist has a Mesa Triple. They both sound fantastic together even though they hit very different frequencies. If I want to push my amp louder than we normally are, I bump the Master to halfway

If you want to add some depth to your sound by adding another amp, I might suggest something with an inherent sag to it, like a Bogner Ecstasy, and I assume the MK50HII as well since I notice it with my Earhart.

A SLO and a Bogner 100b sound unreal together.
Also along the lines of what Mr. Willy said above a Tremaverb on the orange channel through a Bogner 4x12 with Greenbacks is a good combo as well.
Going in a little different direction a Soldano X88r preamp through some rack effects into a power amp into a stereo 4x12 mixes well with the SLO dry...
