I currently have two passive PA speakers and an old Crest LA 901 power amp that I use with the 3.5mm jack on my phone to jam with at home with a couple 100 watt amps and my 4X12.
I'm looking to replace this with one, maybe two powered PAs with bluetooth. My concern is volume. For reference I have a 4X12 with a Friedman JJ100, Mesa Mark IV and EVH 5150 III 50 watt that I play with. Volume wise, I don't run them too loud, I'd say the Friedman is at 9 o'clock, a bit less or a bit more most of the time and the Mark IV is maybe master on 2 or 3. (Thing is a beast) I forget how loud I run the EVH 5150 III 50 watter. The passive/Crest/phone set up is just loud enough to play with.
What would you all recommend without completely breaking the bank? I was looking at https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/S1ProSys--bose-s1-pro-multi-position-pa-system-with-battery but I'm not sure if it is loud enough. That's about the price range I'd like to stay in.
Thanks so much!
