Looking for new amp (Friedman DS/BB?)

I'm looking for a new amp, not only for home use, but also for rehearsal and live. Musically I'm in a Punk-Rock/Post-Punk/Indie whatever kind of band, somehow similar to

and with influences from bands like Jimmy Eat World or The Gaslight Anthem. So no high gain sounds needed ;-)

I was able to check and/or own a lot of amps. Last amp was a Bogner Goldfinger 45, but it was somehow a bit to polished and to complex from the possibilities. That's why I'm looking more for a simple amp.

So far, I'm torn between the Friedman Dirty Shirley and the Friedman Buxom Betty.

Concerns DS: will not be able to dial in a decent clean sound or a short before break up sound. I was only able to play the old version without the new Tape Gain switch. Maybe this will change this concern.

Concerns BB: Would use it with overdrive pedals from my pedalboard (e.g. OCD, Wampler Tumnus, Walrus Mayflower, etc.). I never have been using a single channel amp and not sure if i will "miss" amp overdriven sounds? This would mean going full out pedal platform.

Maybe someone can share is opinion on this. Anyone have a complete different amp idea?

I'm selling a Runt 50 Combo. Check out some videos. Think that may be a great option for you. Tones galore in a small amp.
