Get an Intellifex. They are awesome and only cost $100-$125.

You may also want to consider a Rocktron Replifex. It has the onboard relay switching for 2 functions. Very well built, sound good, and their cheap!

good call, see what i can dig up

how's about a rocktron multivalve? - starting to see that name pop up in my searches

Same thing as the Replifex but with a 12ax7 tube in it that you can enable/disable for "tube warmth" effects. Pretty useless, to be honest. Good devices, though. The Intellifex will be better when it comes to pure delays/choruses/reverbs as it's more rack oriented. The Replifex/MultiValve/Xpression devices sound more like analog stomp box effects put into a rack device. IMO, at least.

kinda what i've read as well, strange there's not more opinions on the multivalve from my searches
the multivalve has those channel switching relays going for it, which would come in handy as well as tremolo and what not,

i've found one for about 200 usd as well... and someone is offering me a intellifex ltd for about 150 usd.... decisions decisions =0

I have a Replifex I've been thinking about parting with. PM me if interested.

For $200 stay with a rocktron intellifex, replifex, xpression.
They are around used for under $150.
The dry signal path is analog too.
Might also consider a lexicon mpx-1.
G major 1 build quality is suspect especially the encoder wheels.
Although the g major 2 is a nice unit it goes through ada conversion even when in bypass mode.

that's what i've been hearing, i ended up going for the rocktron multivalve given the budget, it's in great shape and a good deal , might get it by next week, i'm based in europe and replifex are around 150-200 eu, intellifex maybe around 100 , so i got a decent deal on the multivalve

thanks for all the replies in any case, good advice
