now this looks exciting ....... the mini 6505 had me about to explode, now this just adds to that

in a heartbeat I would buy a 50 watt that was just green and blue channel….

Uh.... just get one and don't use the red channel.

can't have different settings for the green and blue then… If the blue and red shared controls that would work for me too. But the red is too much for my use and I need a real clean… a green and blue with independent controls would be right up my alley….

Too bad its el84. Wish they could either use 6v6s or like a single 6l6 in classA. Only going down to 12 watts is a bummer too. One of the big selling points on the Mesa ta15 I picked up recently was going down to 5watts. Had the Mesa mark v:25 or mini recto gone down to 5watts, I would have given them more consideration. On the ta15, the 5watt mode is great so easily controlling the volume.

yep I feel a little that way as well ... if the EVH is still to far away (i'm thinking we won't see anything for at least 9mths) then the peavey will be on its way to me

Well at least the scope of this amp is right. Maybe not as crazy about the 25 watts as I am about just green and blue channels. I bet that new el34 based mark 4 amp they are talking about is probably just a tweaked green blue channel with el34. That would be the way to go. I have no use for the red channel.
