So will this move include moving to PCB to save time and ensure less problems with wiring? Some might say this should then bring the price down but plenty of amps (Bogner, Deizel) are PCB based and still retain the higher price tag.

I wouldn't worry about Dave handling the QC on his own amps. I can tell you he scrutinized our manufacturing down to the component and wire routing level.

I know this would be juicier if there was drama involved, but it just didn't go down that way. Yes, there were logistics involved and headaches for everyone along the way. But ultimately we parted ways as friends and fellow amp geeks.

VH in a box!!!!!

Somehow I feel like I've heard this before somewhere, someplace.

Not many amp builders have the VH in a box tone. I'd say:

Rockstah (RIP)

i look forward to checking em out.

honestly, the only thing that has kept me from buying a BE100 has been to continued mods and improvements.

i am waiting for the final design to be done.

I figured that i couldnt be the only person who wanted footswitch channel changing and full eq for the clean!

just hope they dont go two rock on us and introduce new amps and mods that cost more money that are just small tweaks of their existing designs! making the older amps value drop like a rock!

That's the problem I'm having. My amp that Dave modded is killer and it makes guys jealous   but I want the new footswitchable options and I need a clean channel badly.

I know it's hard to believe & I was sceptical as well....until I actually played a BE in person.

Unless Dave manufactures the wire and components and personally oversees the assembly by qualified Oompa Loompas, I won't buy one because quality could be compromised. I also won't buy if more than 1 is made per month, again, quality.

You're a gentleman of discerning tastes :cheers2:

As far as the run with used BE-100's on here. I see the same run going on D-Molls, and Cameron "Old Bitches". All great amps. Some guys can only afford a amp or two at a time. Some it's just GAS, or the need for something different.

I feel like my BE-100 is more VH-ish then a EVH-III...

I feel like my Cameron Atomica is more VH-ish than my BE....but what do I know.

Sadly, there is really nothing vintage VH-ish about the EVHIII amp.

I won't buy one unless the wire is spun from the cocoon of the finest silk and the assembler drinks the premium of breast-milk averaging 2 amps per year ... :D
