For me when I see stuff I like to undercut the market by at least 30%-40% from an average used price.

This way my shit just sells faster, their overpriced crap makes mine look good and it helps sell within a week or sooner and I just dont have it laying around for months or whatever or forever in some of these guys cases.

It would be kind of a downer for legit sellers, but it'd be a good idea for RT to have some sort of fee based system to be able to sell in the Classifieds to filter out some of the shenanigans. At least those fees would offset some of site's operation costs.

I mostly sell local these days, but when I post stuff cheap I get a bunch of messages asking what's wrong with it. Now I usually add $50-100 to market value and get offers for exactly what I want. Sometimes if someone messages me I'll hit em with "I'll take $50 off the price if you meet up tonight".. 60% of the time, it works every time.

Below was the communication I had with the scammer who joined RT in 2006 when I looked at the profile, with just about every post in the Classifieds.

If the original post was primarily about one user you are having an interaction with, you can just say that instead of trying to impose new rules for everyone to have to follow including fees.
