And you think I haven't been watching...

LOL
If you look at the Silver Bell, it's a 40 oz magnet, so more magnet than the M75, but less than the H75. It's also going to wind up somewhere in between on tone characteristics. Nothing wrong with it. I've already done custom speakers for a well known player with the 40 oz mag, but with the 75 hz cone & large dust cap. He's got other speaker company affiliations, so I'm not revealing his name....sorry.
Since I'm basically recreating the old Greenback G12M and G12H's with my M75 and H75, going with this magnet type wasn't what I focused on. While my Scumnico uses a 40 oz Alnico magnet with a neodymium tip (to bump up the alnico mag's power a bit), it's more like a 43-44 oz magnet for power, right in between the M75 and H75, but with the unique alnico midrange.
But I'll tell you what Ted said to me when I asked him how he felt when people bought Scumbacks after buying his, and then put the Webers up for sale...
"Jim, I'm not bothered in the least, you know why? I sold 8 speakers, not just four." Meaning he sold 4 of the Webers then sold four more to me to replace the ones he sold previously.
Ted was pretty practical as a businessman, as you can tell. So try them out if you want to.
