Straight G. Some B. Dropped C.
HUGE FUCKING STRING SETS LOL.
my dropped C is .63 to .13 only gets bigger from there.
I love big strings, but I have a vitamin B12 deficiency that makes my hands get tired fast. I can't do a wound G string either which tends to go along with them. G standard is pretty friggin' low hehe! What's your main rig like that you play through with that tuning?
Everything for me is axe fx 2 into vht 2150. Yea it took a long time to get used to big ones but I like the tone .
2150 = never having to wonder if another power amp with sound better than the one you currently own.

The AFX2's sound killer, but I don't love the crap out of technology, and I can't get over the fact that the "feedback" I get from playing through something digitally makes me truly believe that the very first part, (and maybe even the very last part) of each note has been "cut off." At any rate, I'll bet the big strings have the ballz! I remember an interview with SRV where he talked about using 12-56 at only a half step down. He said something like, I like to use big strings, tune down, and floor it! but my guitar tech gets sick of refretting my guitar.

I used to do 11-60 during the 90's tuned to drop C#, (I actually don't like drop tuning, but I replaced the original player who liked that tuning, and I had to follow suit), but no way the muscles in my hands, fingers, and forearms would deal with that for more than about 5-10 minutes these days. I'm having enough trouble trying to play my own songs, that are at the fastest, about 190bpm with a combo of 1/16th alternate and 1/8 down picked notes. During parts of the faster songs where I actually hold a chord for more than a micro second, I actually have to "shake" my forearm out in between chords and re-adjust my pick, all the while trying to sing on top of it! It's been so painful before, that I've forgotten my own lyrics, because I'm focussing on my muscle pain/cramping! In those cases though, I will just pull a "cookie monster" vocal, and sing watermelon over and over. The kids in the crowd never notice, because it's pretty much the "go to" voice for most of the other bands there anyway lol! Don't even get me started on having to play in F# where I used almost zero open chords, and I LOVE the sound of F# songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!
