Just friggin awesome. Shit like this is what makes me wanna move back to the west coast...

WOW!!! That boy can sing, great job.

Sounds better than the original track IMHO.

So who was the dude "helping" with the oooh oooh oooh's at the table?

Thanks guys. The truth about all this is very strange, about 2 years ago I started really eating bad and gaining weight. About a year ago I stopped singing completely, just wasn't into it anymore. But about 4 months ago I got the bug to sing again and at the same time I got a gig to sing on a tune for a TV show, I warmed up for the session and it was like my voice was weird, I couldn't sing high at all and everything just felt strange. I made it through the session but it was brutal and I wasn't happy with the track. I went to my ENT that I work with for American Idol and he scoped my throat and my entire vocal mechanism was burned from acid reflux, he said it was as bad as he ever saw, they ran tests on me and found I had sleep apnea also which is bad for the heart and voice. So he basically told me if I didn't change my ways that I may never sing again and eventually this could kill me. So 3 months ago I changed my life completely; joined the gym, got a trainer 3 days a week, spin and elliptical 3 days a week, eat super clean staying away from acidic foods, no night eating, stop drinking soda etc... I've lost 31 lbs and the sleep apnea is gone! So then I get a call to sing the hardest s**t in the world and I told'em I'd do the gig, not really knowing what to expect I still hadn't sung since the TV gig that didn't go so great, 4 months earlier I could barely sing note above A below high C. I warmed up and could hit it, it was so overwhelming I was stunned. So after 25 years of singing as hard as anyone in the world a pizza nearly took me down. I got up this morning and worked out and did a little vocal warmup and am ready for an all day rehearsal with the Naz guys. Amazing. Anyway, it is a miracle that I can hang with those tunes, I feel blessed. I appreciate the support guys.

Awesome job!! Sounded great!!    And BTW, I want some Reeves clips as well, when you have time!

that's a great story. I think you NEED to get a band going ASAP man.

You have the talent, you clearly have the connections, just get it going man.......even if it's just for weekend fun and all.

I notice from the video your heart NEEDED that rush, that excitement.

Your Vocal CD has helped me A LOT, I love it. Burned a copy to my ipod, and both computers (Studio and Laptop), plus the CD which is in the car.

wow, u really nailed it. I also dig the reeves 78 and want to see more clips of both
