So I have had a crap week at work. Went home at lunch to blow off some steam.
Got a Deliverance 60 a few weeks ago and have not had much more time than to just turn it on and make sure it worked. Also got the Krank Kerry King prototype 2 weeks ago and a tube broke in shipping. Also have not had a lot of time to mess with it. I only have 2 tubes in there now and running it at half the normal ohm of my cab.
I owned a D120 a few years ago and have missed it dearly. The D60 sounds awesome IMHO and so glad I grabbed it. It is an older one with the choke installed. Such an immediate and percussive chug to that amp. The Krank, IMHO, does not seem to have nearly as much gain on board as the Marshall KK. I have been playing it very safe with this amp and not really cranking it up too much or pushing it BUT...
I did get a new quad of KT88's (which is what it came with) so I will be swapping them this weekend and opening this f*cker up! A bud of mine is going to "learn me" how to bias my amps this weekend.
Anyway, here is some sloppy garage noodling.
