That whole album just slayed. So many great, melodic arpeggio ‘interludes’ leading into the solos. Akira had the precision and classical influence of Yngwie with the groove of Edward and the structure of Michael Schenker.

Also loved Soldier of Fortune with Mike Vescera on vocals.

I remember buying that cassette on a whim because the cover I thought it would be metal. Little did I know I’d still be listening to it about 36 years later. Awesome album, every song is good.

You guys might enjoy this history on Loudness. I get the Accept comparisons. They too made the ill-fated decision at one point to ditch their original vocalists for American pretty boys. These moves kind of tanked both bands lol. Loudness had some 'weird' periods too, as you'll see if you watch this piece.
