You guys might enjoy this history on Loudness. I get the Accept comparisons. They too made the ill-fated decision at one point to ditch their original vocalists for American pretty boys. These moves kind of tanked both bands lol. Loudness had some 'weird' periods too, as you'll see if you watch this piece.

I definitely prefer the original band heck I’ve got their stuff when Minoru was singing in Japanese but I think the two albums with Mike Vescera are great, better than Hurricane Eyes IMO but probably would’ve worked out better in terms of success had Minoru not left the band
