What's your fave piece of gear Made in the USA/MIA....... honestly from my pedals to pickups to amps......



As great as imports are........ the Made in the USA/MIA stuff is always better compared to it's imported counterpart on average by a considerable margin short of a couple exceptions and considerations.


For some somethings made in America/USA may not be so much better than the imported counterparts but IMO with the pickups, pedals (except for a couple exceptions such as MIJ) and especially the amps it really makes a difference.




Here's my fave piece of Made in the USA/MIA gear....... my Princeton Reverb Reissue 112 Bordeaux....... nothing else compares to the quality of an Made in the USA/MIA amp IMO ^_^

I've tried a million MIC counterparts to US or Western Counterparts........ and they have all sucked ass and have been complete shit short of my Vox AC15C1 or current production Epiphone guitars and some cables and well Tubes because no one else fucking makes them pretty much.....



Aside from that IMO alot of shit made in China is pure garbage and trash IME especially the trash/garbage pedals and alot of amps and well especially the pedals......




As good as a lot of Chinese amps are too....... hell no is as any good as an American or Western counterpart...... they may be close but yeah no cigar IMO ^_^



Needless to say as great as Chinese shit can be and it is pretty awesome when it is IMO given the quality of current production Epiphones nvm Tubes....... most of the shit made in China in general is just garbage/trash IMO especially when it comes to pedals and this goes for most shit coming out of China short of a couple things like a few amps/tubes and cables etc etc.




In general the Western Made alternatives from Mexico/Japan/USA and especially USA are so much better in general.
 
After China basically outlawed religion, currency became the only thing to worship. Keep that in mind when you are purchasing, and you'll be fine. Being a shady businessman in China is looked up to.

Honestly Peavey should make these in the USA again. The Chinese ones aren't as good IMO :dunno:
 
The only American gear I have is a Musikraft neck and KNE body. I have another body that I believe may be USA, but can’t confirm, and I’ve also pretty much destroyed it so who cares.

The rest of my guitars are Canadian and Japanese. Amp is Canadian, incoming amp is also Canadian
 
So, how about those Yankees? Are they going to win the world cup this year?
 
I always hear about how great a lot of the Chinese pedals are nowadays and there are some decent stuff like um a Nux Plexi Crunch...... and everything else from the Nux line pretty much unusable like Mooer along with whatever other Joyo garbage and the like.....


None of it is good and yeah you could get 5 Chinese pedals for the cost of what a nice MXR or Boss goes for nvm something from ZVex, Xotic, Bearfoot, J Rocket, Friedman, Fulltone or Wampler etc etc...... but it's usually always garbage compared to MIA or MIJ pedals.

Peavey isn't really the best example for this. They started their slide long before the move to China. They were literally the only business that was looked at LESS favorably after being on Undercover Boss.

I have certainly bought some Chinese pedals that suck. I just pitch them in a drawer.
I’m no amateur at dialing in tone. There are at least 10 or more high dollar pedals that I have A\B’d against the Chinese ripoffs that have absolutely no difference.

I did take a chance on A Chibson LPC and while it looks and plays great, the pickups and hardware are shit.
