My wife and I arrived in Anaheim just a bit ago and checked into the hotel for the next 2 nights. Tonight is our 22nd wedding anniversary, and tomorrow night we go see Periphery at house of blues. Our first time since we had kids almost 10 years ago that we get to have a getaway.
Utterly stoked and blissful.

Sounds pretty good but I wouldn't want to hang out on the periphery if I was at house of blues, I would want to get down and have a good time. Me and my wife celebrated our 22nd a few weeks ago. We both forgot it was our anniversary but i remembered the day of and bought her a box of frankincense incense at the gas station. Normally I get her a box of 38 specials for something a little more romantic but I spaced it this year.

Hold on loosely

We will hopefully be in VIP mezzanine overlooking the stage. If there are still VIP upgrades available, otherwise we will be in the ADA section.

We are waiting out front to get our VIP tickets at 3. Guess who just walked by me and my wife. The one and only Misha Mansoor. The night is off to an amazing start.

Happy Anniversary! Enjoy the show.

Awesome man!

Sounds like you and Wifey deserved it.
We truly did man. Absolutely amazing night. Best night at a concert I've ever had. We even got to go to the VIP after party. We also got to hang out with Spencers sister and her fiance, who doesn't live that far from us. We are gonna be hooking her up with a big ass Monster Jam play set for her 3 old son.
We are still tripping balls from a truly surreal evening and still high off Peripherys performance. They were so tight it was just ridiculous. If I could only have one metal band in my life, they would cover all the bases I would ever need.

Sounds like a night to remember!
It really was. I've never had a night like that in my 55 years on earth.
Can't wait to plug my guitar in and live out my office corner djent dreams that will go nowhere. Seeing them live made me want to chug and make noise on my little rig.
And to think, not that long ago I still yet to discover the joys of these guys.
And I must add, the crowd was a really great bunch of people. Eveyone we interacted with were super nice, intelligent well mannered folks. We were all on the same wavelength and vibe. It was really amazing.

The good time is written all over your face in those pics. You must've brought a roll of toilet paper to wipe that shit eating grin off!

Seriously though man, congrats. Glad you and your bride had a great time together. Congrats on a successful 22 year marriage, that's even better than the periphery show especially if she is a girl that will put up with your guitar chuggin!
