My opinion is Hybrid is the better way to go over full electric. At least you don't have to worry about running out of battery and being stranded on the side the road. It just switches to gas. Plus all the ways they made use of Faraday's Law to charge the battery while you were driving on gas. It is definitely a technology that was abandoned too quickly.

There's hybrids on the market, but not near as much money is being put to R&D for them. At least for now more has been put towards developing full electric lines. Maybe as some point when companies realize full EV isn't as far along as it need to be to be viable they'll put more back into developing hybrids further.

Should be pretty obvious to anyone who took a high school biology class, but very well I'll humor you. I'll give the short version...
During conception the embryo inherits either XX or XY chromosomes which at that moment determines the biological sex; female or male respectively. At 6-8 weeks of gestation the Y chromosome signals the production of testosterones which in turns triggers development of gonads.
So biological sex is determined at conception, not 8 weeks later when male sex organs begin to develop. And furthermore an embryo doesn't start off female and turn male. It's a blank slate that can go either way. Without being triggered to develop male sex organs, at roughly 11 weeks development defaults to female.

Not really, the embryo already has either XX or XY chromosomes at conception so biological sex is already determined. The rest is developing the sex organs. Think of blank slate as you would a stem cell. It is able to develop into the role it is assigned. The embryo doesn't start off with ovaries and
fallopian tubes which transform into gonads and epididymis.
