thanks man. I think I just gravitate to those kind of amps tbh. I like tight amps, but I need a bit of sag, super dry amps just don't feel as fun to play for me. Could be my tracking too, I'm kind of sloppy, so the tracks always make kind of a chorus effect when I go hard left and right.thegame":2f4dyk6m said:Erock, your clips always sound so wet and juicy. Opposite of dry. How do you get that ? That character enhances whatever amp you're recording.

It's $975 + shipping, Andrew was offering a $75 off coupon during 4th of July weekend but I think that expired.

I'm just wondering why the hell they had to put a single PCB board in a 4 space rack?
Just doesn't make sense.
I'll probably buy one for the sake of buying one, but that thing is HUGE
I hope it sounds as good as the clip thats doubled up with compression and EQ.
e906 and SM57, 906 on a K100 and 57 on a V30, doubled with 2 takes, 1 track from each mic. The Mak4 was running thru the Herbert poweramp loaded with Winged =C= 6550.JTyson":vw2zhuqw said:Killer clip Erock![]()
how did you record it?
if you mean the clip in this thread, that's raw tracks, no compression or EQ on the tracks. I end up making it sound worse when I try my hack mastering techniques, lol, it just always seems to lose something.Ancient Alien":vw2zhuqw said:Sounds great.
