Jeez that thing will be a monster. And combined together you'll have 8 spaces of tonal destruction.

I remember talking over email and on the phone with Andrew and really being impressed with him and his dedication. I'm beyond satisfied with my Axe FX but I've wanted to get a couple of really great amps just for simplicity for when I feel like plugging in to an actual halfstack. Does anyone know if he still makes the Custom 100? I remember loving some of the tones I heard from that and I really loved the two gain controls that allowed you to set the overall level of gain and the level of saturation around the note.

no idea, he's waiting to reveal the specs on it, here is what he told me when I asked.


"I can't comment on the power amp at this time. It would blow your mind. It will have some pretty unique stuff on it."

He seems like a down to earth guy, as they say.

I don't know if he still makes the Custom 100. His old website states that there will be new products and newer prices, so I can't say. I haven't noticed anything answering your question on Facebook, either.

As long as I get my Mak4 is a month and a half or so, s'all good.

I hope those that got in the pre-order before it closed would be notified first so they don't get shut out if a new re-pre-order window opens.

This sort of thing happened years ago as well, he had an un-official list going and while it was done in good faith it blew up in his face due to guys wanting to be the first but then dropped out, others yelling where was theirs, etc.

He should never have done this and just built some and said first come first serve.

First adapters are a tough crowd

Applying that small discount to the poweramp would be more beneficial for business...no one will cancel the order for the Pre because they have to REorder...lots of folks wanted one and were turned away. Offer the discount on the Poweramp to help those. You have more competition around that product than you have on the 4 channel all tube pre.


To make sure I get mine.... What do WE need to do to make sure we didn't get refunded? Call the CC?

All orders are in a spreadsheet down to the second someone ordered, no change in the line up. Reordering will not affect that.

This is simply a credit card processing problem, not a production problem.

I'll certainly let everyone know if there are refunds, you don't need to lift a finger on your end.

You can take $25 off the poweramp also when it comes out.
