I know, this blows. I hope not. But I'm definitely changing merchants after this, google checkout support is poor. I guess I can offer a small discount if you guys have to reorder...for your hassle

Applying that small discount to the poweramp would be more beneficial for business...no one will cancel the order for the Pre because they have to REorder...lots of folks wanted one and were turned away. Offer the discount on the Poweramp to help those. You have more competition around that product than you have on the 4 channel all tube pre.


To make sure I get mine.... What do WE need to do to make sure we didn't get refunded? Call the CC?

I'll certainly let everyone know if there are refunds, you don't need to lift a finger on your end.

You can take $25 off the poweramp also when it comes out.

I'm going to keep tight lipped on the power amp. Probably until I have a bunch made and ready to go. I don't think I'll have any preorder. It will just be BAM!... they are here.

I hear great things about your stuff and wish you the best. Hopefully we'll get together and I can check some out. I have always wanted a Mako amp. Love all the clips I have heard.

So here's the plan...


Guitar -> Mako -> TC nova system -> Left and right outputs from nova -> left and right input of Crown XTI power amp -> left and right inputs of port city 212 (each speaker will be wired to it's own jack)

I can't wait!


Though just for fun, I may try left and right output of the nova into the FX loop returns of the nitro and titan then to the splawn cab and port city cab... no... no.. the world isn't ready for that

Fast Red - are you expecting the Mako to be as versatile as the three channel Titan is?

Let's say if you ran the Mako thru the power section of the Titan and AB'd them ( could this be your next video ? ).

yeah I planning on running it through all the amp's power sections to see how they react.

The 3 channel titan (cerberus) shares a common preamp but on the other hand, with a contour knob, master depth and presence, it's an EXTREMELY flexible amp... though for $2500, it ought to be.

I posted some sound clips earlier in the thread of clean and mild breakup. I imagine with a decent power amp, it'd be similar~ish to those but I don't realistically expect the preamp to sound identical to the makoplex and dorado. Too many factors.

Hello Gents!


All orders are in a spreadsheet down to the second someone ordered, no change in the line up. Reordering will not affect that.

This is simply a credit card processing problem, not a production problem.

Who else thought this meant that MAKO would take care of the CC issue?

Cause they didn't.


Mine wasn't reordered...even though they had my CC info...my order time...and NO cancellation FROM MY END.
