The guitar sound on that song always fascinated me. Made a recording of that song with my Bogner XTC 20th anniversary to see how my XTC sounds compared to Yngwies recording.
I think i came really close to the sound on that album without adjusting my settings. Guess i could have dialed in even closer but i am quite satisfied with the tone i got from the XTC and the Strat. Played at very low volume. Used channel 3 and had only a Boss Reverb in the loop.
