Satan is a bit of a tone snob. I saw MF at a small club in '93. Flotsam and Jetsam opened. MF was on stage with house lights on while creepy harpsichord music played. The standing crowd started to part as bouncers pushed people aside for the King, as he walked in through the front door and through the crowd like a boss. Freaking awesome!
I last saw them on the 9 tour here in St. Pete Florida, 1999. Nevermore opened, and that was my first exposure to Jeff Loomis. I believe they were supporting Dreaming Neon Black. I got hooked on them too!
Here’s a new tune. I’m digging it, it’s pretty epic. Hopefully the production of the new album lends to the spooky atmosphere like on the first two MF albums.
I used to laugh at king diamond when I was a kid now I think he is one of the coolest lead singers. Most of the interviews I've read with him he seems like a decent guy too but good God he is a performer.
