I'm seeing less guitars every year with this neck combo. I have played rosewood, pau ferro, ebony bit I keep coming back to maple.

In all honesty, it's hard for me to play on anything but maple just for the visual aspect. It's what I've used for years and anything else just doesnt look normal. Plus I like the snappy attack of maple ;)

I've got both but lean towards maple.

I've even got a drummer that rags on me about my maple neck guitars as if rosewood is somehow cooler. He is a drummer so........

I won't buy anything else but maple neck + board guitars these days.

I have 2 guitars with maple necks - both strats - and I find myself playing them the most.

Maple maple for me as well. I've been playing maple on maple for long it's weird to look down and see a different wood. All three (soon to be four) of my Warmoth strats all maple

No love really for maple from me guys! If I want the snap I go Ebony, rest of the time though, I hear what I like in Rosewood board. A little less snap , crackle, and pop.

I like them all, not too picky, but maple on maple is my favorite.

To me it depends on the guitar. Les Pauls, PRS's, etc need a rosewood board. But I prefer maple on Strats and Teles

Cool ...some maple love on here..what body wood and top to u think maple/maple neck sound the best with?

I find basswood with maple top works and solid maple body too...not crazy about ash or alder

I'm a maple nut also, most of my guitars are maple neck and board. Hell, even my LP has a maple board!!!!!

 for maple

I don't really discriminate as long as the guitar as a whole sounds and plays great, but I prefer the look of rosewood over maple. My favorite is pau ferro which looks similar to rosewood but is a bit harder and more dense which gives it some maple-like tonal characteristics. Ebony is the prettiest, but it's a garbage tonewood for an electric unless you use a lot of gain and/or processing.

Big fan! My #1 is an EBMM 25th with Birdseye neck/board. My tele has an all maple neck too!

I need to take an updated pic of my guitar collection, it's getting quite big.

I'm digging that.
So many LP models that I can't keep up. What is this one, and from what years was it made?

I am a fan of the maple maple. Takes a bit of getting used to the glassiness with the lack of grain, and
the relative hardness, but once you are, it is mighty fine. As a result, I adopt a different touch on maple.

That's a 2012 custom shop maple. I love that thing, plays so nice and has a nice snappy heavy tone.

Great for metal!!!!!!!!!

I love maple necks and have 10 or 15 or so. I prefer one piece maple and no super glued FB ;)
