how didya blow up the Duet?

I had the phantom power on a mic active then I unplugged the cable and straight into the back of my AxeFx...the Duet didn't like that at all. That channel has been noisy and lacked significant headroom ever since..out for repair!

I absolutely love the Aldrich pups in mahogany, I have a set in my mahogany DCii-6. Also surprisingly the neck pup works pretty well for jazzy clean tones.

IMHO the best tone you have ever posted. My personal feeling about most active pick ups of the ones I have tried over the years.... they never ever sound like that big open tone you are getting there. BTW you still play with too much gain.

All that said you always sound great because you are a really good player. That's most important key to good tone IMHO.
