what kind of cable can I use to replace this cable?
do I have to order one from Mesa?
do I have to order one from Mesa?
That is what I was thinking. I'm not sure if they changed that with different revisions or not, but if it is, you would have to buy a new foot switch, or get the cable and then solder it into the foot switch.mrkmas":b7qopmsw said:After googling the footswitch, it appears as though the cable is hard wired to the footswitch, and not removable. Is this correct?
That is what I was wondering and hoping since that would be much easier. I am just unfamiliar with mesas to know if they did this type of change.roadifier":3fz46aqf said:That is what I was thinking. I'd try Mesa boogie, they could probably get one to you.Neeklaus":1da2i680 said:yeah I'm getting the amp tomorrow.
I've rewired plenty of stuff I think I could handle a footswitch as long as I can confirm the pinout
anyone know where to obtain said pinout of the mark iv footswitch?
then it would be as simple as acquiring a 7 pin cable!

+1. Some multimeters are so touchy the numbers will change constantly for no reason even when they're not touching anything. I'd use the continuity setting as well![]()
I've got a multimeter, if needed.Neeklaus":1iuphh49 said:i see...I need to snatch up a multi meter!
