Marshall JCM 2000 Speaker Jack Ground Mod

[jcmtone1]

Hi All,

Does anyone have the specifics or pics of the speaker jack ground mod for the DSL? Thanks

[Samhain]

I have/had two 2K DSL's ive not needed anything but to play it.
Never had a problem.

I did the "under the pcb" mod as it is surely better looking and more sturdy than soldering the pads on the jacks.
You can see the mod on this page - https://www.thefretboard.co.uk/discussion/111072/jcm2000-dsl50-thinking-of-buying-one-any-advice/p2

(you can also improve the soldering on the ohm switch as it is on the photo but it's not so important as the grounding mod on the jacks)
