Marshall JCM800 Reissue

I noticed ads are popping up for the JCM800 reissue and its showing $2999 for the price. Is it me or does this seem ridiculous?

$3K for that amp is a joke. I got $3K burning a hole in my pocket? Im not buying a fucken stock marshall jcm800. Im think more along the lines of booze, drugs and sluts.

It’s $3000 in Canada, $2500 for the 1987X. Not sure the price in the US.
The brand new price sucks, having said that the EVH 100 watt EL34 cost even more and I wouldn’t shell that out for made in Mexico. I bought a used 2203X from 2004. It’s so nice to have the FX loop to run other preamps through if need be.

One option is to buy from Andertons, they are 1430 pounds which is 1800 US.....then have a tech re wire the power tap for 120v....I emailed them about buying a black tolex Jube RI 2555x and they didn't say no, they just mentioned the tubes couldn't be warrantied if shipped here....prob be 200 more with shipping. The Jube is around 1100 or so.

that's a great idea.. I sent them an email on a marshall item and they had no problems selling it to me.

I tried to put one in the cart awhile back at Thomann's site and it said Marshall wouldnt let them ship there. Hell last year they were like 23-2400 which is pretty expensive but I could kinda understand that but 3k for a single channel stock Marshall? Sounds like they have a booze, drug, or slut habit.

I could think of worse things to have than a slut habit though.

I would go with a dozen other amps at that price point over a RI JCM800. jeezzz.

I could think of worse things to have than a slut habit though.

I tried that with a Diezel, just to see and I had the same result. But, no problems with Andertons when it comes to any Marshall. They don't carry Diezel.
