I never had a chance to try one of these back in the day and I found a great deal on Ebay. It should be here no later than next Monday. I look forward to having some fun with it. Anyone else have one of these? Thoughts?
If your JMP-1 sounds better than your MP-1 you need to get your MP-1 serviced.ghosty999":yttze58u said:My fave pre-amp, I have it next to my ADA-MP1 which is in close second. It has speaker emulation which is great for recording, all my songs are using it and the speaker emu. Just a warning, the cleans are garbage (personal opinion) the are lacking and weak... hence the ADA MP-1 to cover it haha

No. Its not. Gigged an ADA for years...first version stock. My buddy had a JMP 1.....would have traded him straight up in a heartbeat. But I'm a Marshall guy.....Fuego":3crqny3r said:Honestly, that's probably the worst preamp I've evr played besides that carvin pre they had. The circuitry is basically a clean preamp running a distortion pedal circuit. Then again, maybe it's because I never liked any Marshall ever.
Honestly the Ada mp1 is better.
