ahhh...the Crystal Mountain "clip".great song from my favorite DEATH album,Symbolic ...great amp,too! got an '80 JMP 2203 w/6550's,myself,and it ROX!!!!!!!!!

Well you can tell you were messing with it .... because every track sounds different. I just love the way the JMP cuts thru.

I mlike you're playing and tone alot. I do prefer your Marshall tone to the Guitar Rig 3.

Love the Ozzy clip, the amp sounds great with a boost. Nice playing too.
Not so hot on the GR3 stuff though...

Symbolic is indeed one hell of an album. Have to love these JMPs, too. Mine blows away every other amp I've owned.

Yeah, I was definitely messing with it. As a recording newbie, I find it amazing how much the mic position, room, and eq change the recorded tone. I definitely need to work on it to get where I want, though. And I'm with you: They definitely have a cutting tone.

Thanks man, I appreciate the complement. I definitely prefer the Marshall as well, however, it needed some work so I was unable to use it. Hopefully I'll be getting it and my guitar back from the shop soon.

Thanks man. I want to redo the Ozzy clip, but I haven't had the opportunity to do so. When I get my gear back from the shop I think I may go after Rock 'N' Roll Rebel.
