Hype to me is exaggerated or extravagant claims made especially in advertising or promotional material that will not meet up to its expectations. Im telling you right now that these amps deliver and I would be surprised if others won't agree. I am a HUGE fan of these amps and most people know that I was not a Marshall fan for many years.
I started out playing Marshalls and switched and will definitely be comming back to teh JVM when my credit cards have been cleaned up!!!

There's nothing subjective about the features of this amp and from the videos it sounds great and i trust the ears of the people telling me it sounded good.

I definitely don't need 4 channels, but the JVM sounded a lot better then the VM to me in those vids...

I assume shipping is not included in that price :oops:

Shipping in the US is about $50 give or take. They will be shipped from a commercial location so it's a little cheaper than standard.
I will also price out shipping fully insured via the USPS since they tend to be cheaper and safer....
I WILL NOT use Fed EX.
I finally got my settlement after over 2 months of fighting with them about my broken Fuchs TDS. They finally agreed to repair/replace the amp by sending it to Andy Fuchs.
I just shipped my Splawn from NY to MO and it was a hair under $50 insured for full replacement value....

I'll be getting into an arguement with the lady when she gets home to make a case for getting it.

I'll likely be unsuccessful, since I've racked up a good amount of debt over the past few months, and she'll be SURE to mention that... :(
