Marshall ST1 Board Question - V2 Pin 3 and 8 Cathodes

I cant tell but on my 74 st1 board is the trace connected where v2 pin 3 and pin 8 meet at the board? Each has a yellow wire but it looks like the traces connect under the board. But on all schematics and layouts I dont see these connecting. In the new v2 versions of the board its clearly not connected.

I answered my own question. Continuity test shows they connect. Not only that, the 820 ohm resistor has continuity all the way to the 33k slop and the .022 caps.

I’m a little confused. I assume they changed this for a reason.
