Perhaps even administer various State vaccines if you somehow forgot, eh? After all, she's an expert on the welfare of children and providing the correct family environment for them, right? As everyone knows, Healey (D) also recently removed all restrictions on abortion, so that as former VA Gov Northam (D) said, after making the delivered living baby "comfortable", the doctor and mother can "have a conversation" about the baby being executed or allowed to live.

Far-left Democrat Governor Maura Healey is pushing a shocking new proposal that would expand state-funded home visits to the house of every single newborn baby born in the state.
Under the guise of “maternal healthcare” and mental health support, Healey wants government-appointed healthcare providers to physically enter the homes of parents to conduct “assessments” on families.
On Boston Public Radio, after pitching her postpartum package, Healey said this:
According to official state announcements, Governor Healey is demanding taxpayers fund a massive $2 million expansion of the state’s “Welcome Family” initiative.
According to the announcement, a maternal and child health nurse will check the parent and the newborn, talk feeding and sleep, screen for depression and other mental health concerns, ask about support at home, and, this part is on the state’s own family handout, discuss “ensuring that your home is safe.” Then someone from the program calls back two to three weeks later to see whether the family used the “resources.”
While the administration claims the visits are designed to provide assistance and offer nurses to check in on mothers, critics see it as an unprecedented intrusion of state bureaucrats into private family life.

Governor Maura Healey today announced new measures to strengthen postpartum care and mental health support for mothers and families across Massachusetts, with a focus on reaching people earlier, making support easier to access and helping providers connect patients to care when they need it.
Governor Healey is proposing $2 million to provide universal access to the Department of Public Health’s Welcome Family home visiting program statewide and $250,000 to strengthen the Department of Mental Health’s Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Program for Moms, known as MCPAP for Moms. The funding will be included in an upcoming supplemental budget. DPH will also update state regulations to strengthen screening for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and help providers identify concerns earlier.

Governor Healey is proposing $2 million to expand Welcome Family, a voluntary (for now, sweethearts, most govt intrusions start as voluntary, like the Fauci Jab, before it became "mandatory" or face loss of employment as stated very clearly) and free home visiting program that supports parents and caregivers in the weeks after a baby is born.
Welcome Family currently serves approximately 3,000 births each year. The additional funding would give every parent and caregiver in the postpartum period across the state the opportunity to have a home visit, following Massachusetts’ approximately 68,000 annual births.
Through the program, an experienced maternal and child health nurse visits a family’s home following the birth of a child to check on both the caregiver and baby, answer questions and connect the family with additional support when needed. The service is available regardless of age, income or other eligibility criteria. Perhaps the good nurse can find out how many guns you have also? But will the nurse ask you if you or anyone else in the house is an illegal alien/felon?
