This is absolutely a factNo fair! He already knows how to dial in great fucking tone.
Even money says he could walk up to any of our rigs and dial in a better tone than what we already have.
He's a witch!! Burn him!!
Anyone still rocking the PMEQ? I have a MarkIIC++ RI incoming and was thinking about this pedal for some Metallica tones.![]()
Same here. Mine developed an issue that is self oscillate when the high frequency selector is anywhere in between 11:00 and 1:00, generating a very high pitch squeal. That happens even with the guitar unplugged. Gonna have to send it back at some point to get fixed.my pmeq had been sitting in a box all summer. it developed a weird issue with some HF noise, and volume issues. the guy at master effects offered to fix it for free, but its going to cost like $40 round trip shipping. he said he had a run with some questionable ic's. Not trying to bad mouth them at all because that can happen to the even the best of compaies, and he's been quick to communicate and offer a solution, but i've just been lazy in shipping it back. i got used to the empress, and now i'm happy with that. one this is for sure, i could have saved myself a lot of trouble buy buying a PEQ and keeping it my loop ages ago. would have kept me from swapping speakers, tubes, amps, etc so much back in the day when trying to really fine tune my tone.

Well that totally sucks, hopefully he will take them back and fix the issue on his dime. That's only fair.....Same here. my new v2 is on most of the time. Sounds awesome to my ears. just scooping the 900hz - 1.2k (depending on my tuning) helps out mark series amps BIG TIME. i actually boost (Shhhh don't tell the other metal guys) the 750hz slider now on my mark IV and use my lead eq as a solo boost. with all of the other 5 band frequencies flat. i like the sound of the mark IV with minmal eq'ing, just very specific eq'ing. I run all the other sliders flat...every hair on the 750hz slider changes EVERYTHING to me.
