Looks beautiful.

But........that knob placement would be TERRIBLE for me. Wow, they are too close together. I'm constantly riding the volume knob and I'd for sure be hitting that knob right below it. VERY strange.

Bad design. Sorry. :aww:

Yeah, whatever you get used to I guess. I ride it with my pinky finger and it is in the right place for me. I feel the same as you about Strats, Suhr's and other guitars with the slider type pick up selector right in the path of thrash! I am either inadvertently changing pickups or worse, hitting it mid slide where there is no output. This turned me off on Suhr Moderns and the like. One of my Andy's was doing the same thing, so I rewired it hot to the bridge pickup.

  I think he is calling dibs after you! Which I was going to call!!! That is def an awesome guitar dude, not real big on the control layout either, are those volumes up front and tones in the back?

I got this today, and once again.........WOW. David hit one out of the park with this one. Just played it at band practice. Those Iron Man PU's are nice too. But, the real treat on this guitar is the neck and action. Over the top.

No dibs. I may have a couple of whiskey dented Lesters to pass out though....

Yeah, volumes up front.

Again, hands down that is the finest looking Tele style guitar I've ever seen in my life. It REEKS of quality build and attention to detail. As for the placement of the knobs, I will say it's a bit unconventional, but being unconventional is what makes pioneers in any industry, so I say kudos and props. Work with something for a long enough period of time, and one can get used to anything. Hell, I had a gig axe I played that had a volume and tone knob snapped off and just these little twigs of metal sticking out - didn't take me long to get 'em to work just perfectly fine. Of course, when I strapped on another guitar with 'normal' knobs, it took me a while to get back into it

Gorgeous guitar. Enough for this devout Lester fanboi to want to put some serious thought into getting one or four in the relatively near future :D

Nicely done Stevie...

Steve... you're killing me bro. I've already started saving for another guitar and it might have to be a McNaught. My bank account is cursing this site as we speak...

RT definitely pulls a lot of funds... So it goes. Place is like a support group for a bunch of overspending, overly obsessed, self-admitted gear heads.

1. We admitted we were powerless over gear - and that our lives had become unmanageable.
2. Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of Rig-Talk.

The rest is history is the making

The issue here is that I'm sixteen - I can't leave school to work full time to fund this gear.

Tele? What you talkin bout Willis?

Much closer to a Lester. A Tele is a slab of wood with a neck bolted on. This is neck through, solid body, two piece top!

Your time will come dude! At 16 I was busing tables at Red Lobster :aww: and drove a fucking VW beetle. At 17 though, I bought a brand new JCM800 50 watt and a used 412 Marshall cab. Had a used Les Paul and an EH Memory Man. I played Running With The Devil until my fingers hurt.

That's true. I work at a guitar shop, don't drive, and spend all my money on gear and Coca Cola... it's all good.

Very nice VSC, by the way.

Nice aren't they? Damn hard to put down too. I got one of my Les Paul's out the other day to play and put it right back in the closet. Look for them on the Classifieds real soon.
