Then quit your whining and LEAVE. I'll help you pack. LOL
I'm stuck here till my wife's parents take permanent naps. They won't let us leave because of our kids.
But believe me I'd love to pack tomorrow and get out if I could.

Somewhere else is my guess. Some people are leaving here. So what?
You should be concerned when over a million people are leaving your state every four years. You should be concerned a lot of tech and other businesses are moving to Texas.

Who do you think your reps will look to to make up the lost tax base? Hopefully you are one of those liberals who has the money to afford living in a place with very liberal policy. Only rich people and welfare cases can afford to be there, everyone else finds a new, cheaper place to go.

You guys are hilarious with your CDS. (California Derangement Syndrome) Ah, well. Think what you want. We're happy here.

A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.

Peace!

We're happy here.
Many people still pine for the glory days of the soviet union so saying you are happy there, that's great, but in the context of your failing state it seems pretty naive. People who don't wear the rose colored glasses you do are exiting your happy place en-masse. Eventually you will be required to pick up the tab when the coffers get empthy.

Oh for fuck's sake...

California has been in a steady decline since the late 60's unless you are a sexual pervert, a drug abuser, a homeless person, or upper middle class in which case things there are great. Otherwise it's pretty obvious your state is headed for rock bottom, and quickly.

CDS - California Derangement Syndrome. You guys are hilarious. Carry on and bash away. LOL

We're not upper middle class and we're fine, but apparently you know more about living conditions in my state than I do. Amazing. Simply amazing.

You're a good guy, @VonBonfire, but your gloom and doom predictions about my state are tiresome. Give it a rest.

My old' man's family is all from Oakland. Tell me what a great place it is there. Just because you live in a secluded mountain villa on some hillside someplace....it isn't an accurate reflection of what is taking place in cities nationwide, but especially California. My cousin just relocated to FL from there because San Ramon is no longer the nice place it used to be.

My other cousin lives on the Nevada side of Tahoe for decades now because Cali was no good then. One of my generous benefactors on the gig scene are a couple who relocated from Calfiornia about a decade ago. I had a drummer from California briefly. Every time I get on the interstate I see California plates. The best and brightest are leaving your state man, wake up. Keep telling yourself nothing is wrong.

You are a good guy as well but if you ripped on Texas there would be plenty I could admit to in terms of it's shortcomings. I'm asking for a little honesty here.

I am being honest and I don't appreciate the implication that I'm deluded or dishonest. I've lived in Sacramento, San Jose and Los Angeles, as well as a couple of small towns and now I'm rural. I just might know a thing or two about my state. I've been quite clear about some problems in our state. So what? I'd still rather live here more than any other state. I'm awake, thank you very much.

By all means, enjoy CDS - California Derangement Syndrome.

Feel free to have the last word. I'm out. Peace.

Says pretty much everything I need to know. Living in the woods is pretty much better than any city, anywhere.

No it‘s not. It’s like living in California. In California, there are homeless turds you can tread in on the footpath. In the woods there are bear turds! A bear can do a very large turd.

Well, we've lived on this mountain over 18 years now, and I haven't seen any bear turds up here (or human turds for that matter). LOL We get bears, cats, and coyotes on our property since we're about 100 yards away from a big creek where they like to drink. So far we are turdless. LMAO

So then... does a Bear s*&# in the forest?
