I have only had about an hour with the Two Notes Live so far but think it sounds really good. I still need to play around with cabs and mic settings but I get some really great tones out of it. Here is a very rough clip. All rhythm and lead guitars are the Electra Dyne. A little bit of delay from my TC Flashback on the lead.

Just thought I would share. My playing is a bit off as my new position at work has left me with very little play time as of late. Hope that changes with the new year.

Sounds good. Any boost pedal on the amp?

Just the red channel with no boost. The ED is a great rock amp for sure. The Live is so new to me that I am still figuring out how it works. I'm sure I will only get better with it.

Sounds great buddy...does the live incorporate 3rd party impulses?

Thanks Rian! Yes, you can use third party IRs. I have a some Ownhammer impulses as well but haven't had time to run through them yet. I will by this weekend. So far so good for my plug and play approach.

Sounds great, Chad!

I'm looking for a combo, and this may be the one. :D

Wow, that sounds great Chad. I haven't been playing much lately either. Been selling off a bunch of stuff and have had "house" issues to deal with. Anyway, your playing on this was excellent. I'm about to order a Mark V:25 but I may still pick up a Reload or something. Feels redundant though since I have the Kemper.

That ED is sweet.

So did you have any volume from the amps speaker or was it all through the 2 note? The ED gets seriously LOUD fast but I love how it punches you in the chest instead of ripping your fillings loose with high end.

They don't have a lot of gain stock but if you ever try one out bring an OD pedal with you. I use a pair of BB Preamps, a regular one for rhythm and the BB Mid boost one for leads. I used to be a big Mark series guy but the Ed won me over. The last other amp I've owned was a Bogner 20th Shiva which is a great amp but still liked the Ed, especially considering it was a lot cheaper.

Thanks Josh! The ED might be the one for you. I have had it for a while now and I really like it. Has one CL80 and sounds really thick. I use a BB Preamp to boost it for a little more gain but I am pleasantly surprised what it can do.

I thought the same thing at first but my Kemper is going no where. I just want the option to use my tube amp or Kemper at home. A bit pricey but worth it. I have been plesantly surprised by the new Mark V. At least you have the built in Cab Clone for silent recording. I know about the house issues. It seems like things just start falling apart at about the 10 or 11 year mark. Too many to count.

It was all through the Two Note. I am thinking about trying it with the speaker plugged in as well. Kind of fun to have options to play around with here at the house. It really is a loud little amp. I played an outside show back in August with the ED and was surprised how much volume I used. I was hoping to open it up a bit more.

I'll have to try that trick with the two BB Preamps. Do you ever run them together? It might be too much but you never know. Either way, that is a great idea using them for dual purpose.
