Mesa boogie mark III doing Dream Theater

I've got a MKIII blue stripe/export long head with my usual mods from Mesa. That amp is a never seller too...if you have some work done on it you'll never have a need for the IV

Mine is unmodded but I think I'm gonna have the c30 mod to reduce the brightness, but it will have a switch on - off

I recommend trying it, i have my c30 cap on a pull switch on the R2 volume mod on the back panel.

I tried 500pf but the change was too subtle/ineffective

Great stuff there! Out of my Mkiii red stripe coli, blue stripe coli (both w/ r 2 and rev mods), my mkiv, and my iic+..., my mk iii coli's get the most play..They are both just more open,in your face, and aggressive if need be.
