That's one heck of a lunchbox
Dual reverbs headphone cab clone
Fs eq 3 modes per ch
For 1299 pretty cool

The complaint about this amp will be that it's IIc+ mode doesn't sound the same or as good as the one on the regular Mark V, which in turn doesn't sound the same or as good as an actual IIc+. :D

cool a mini mark V. This will make me rethink getting a TA-15. I just wish the mark V 25 went down to 5Watts like the TA-15 does....

Are there any clips posted anywhere? Guess I could look myself, couldn't !?

Doh! Just saw the video section on OP's link. It's early. Carry on.

I think it sounds great. I wonder if 6V6's would've been a better choice considering the amount of gain on channel two. At any rate, that's a fantastic sounding amp at a great price point. Plus, Mesas are extremely well built. Nice.

wow super impressed, sounds like it still has a nice girth to it even with the el84's

Great, I just bought 2 amps... Looks like Im getting anotha!!

Thanks for posting the link OP!
I knew that a lower watt Mark was inevitable, and am very pleased to see that it is now becoming a reality! :D
Personally, I currently own and have previously owned MANY Mesa Boogie amplifiers.
The Mark series is my overall favorite from MB! I truly believe that this new Mark 25w "Lunch Box Amp" will be enjoyed and appreciated by many.
I watched the demo video which provided some nice sound samples, and also provided a good description of the amp features.
Personally, I think that MB has included "the right modes" for this 25w amp version!
I LOVE the fact that MB has included the actual GEQ sliders rather than just the contour EQ control knobs in this amp!
I will definitely be "pre-ordering" this amp, and truly can't wait to receive it!
Cheers!

I'd still rather have it stripped down with no modes on it, and El84's wouldn't be my first choice. But if Mesa insists on multiple modes at least allow the amp to footswitch through some of them. Also, since Mark series amps are so good at low volumes not sure I'l bother with this since you can buy a used Mark IV for cheaper that sounds better.

While I probably will pass on it I can see Mesa selling a lot of these.

Wow! Looks and sounds great! Can't wait to try one out. Will definitely be looking into one of these for sure!
