Mine is shipping either tomorrow or Thursday. I have it and a Mesa 2x12 cab on order so it will be the very first tube amp I've ever bought brand spanking new. Getting anxious.

I played one the other day for a hour or so..... Very nice amp.

Does anyone (particularly those who've tried it) think this amp would do the job for a primarily blues and classic rock player?

In terms of ideal clean tone, I'm also considering a 68 DRRI reissue but the modern functionality on this new Mesa is far superior.

The clean channel alone could cover that. I would check it out and see if the voicing fits you. I played on it a few times now and feel it is the best small amp for my taste.

The features are great. Mesa did a great job with this amp.

I finally had the chance to play one for about 45 min yesterday. All I can say is wow! The clean channel is outstanding and the crunch is where it is at for me. It has that clean gain that sounds great for just about any application. The high gain channel is great too. For its big brother I prefer channel 3 but this amp channel 1.

OP, just wondering why your selling it off now. I'm sure the amp works great. Just curious since you seemed to really dig it.

Dave

Got mine finally.
Here's a video of my shitty playing but check out the tone and saturation with the gain only half way up in IIC+ mode.

I would prefer Metallica dumped the fractal and took these out them slaved them to a bigger system .Easy amp they could fit in the overhead of a plane and gets their tone in a small package

Late to this one, but from the many clips I've watched now I have to say based
on the tones, spec, boogie-build quality & price point its game, set & match to
the Mesa guys in this market.

That sounds really good.

Has anyone got any good clips of the crunch channel?

Definitely intrigued by these. Built in cab clone is a sweet feature for sure.

Yeah, the Cab Clone feature is a big plus for these amps. Kudos to Mesa for including it on the amp.

I get the feeling they are going to be on several of three amps from this point out....

I don't have any clips but I'm in love with the crunch mode. You can work the gain and the mid boost like the old Marks with the separate Gain and lead drive. It sounds and feels a lot like my old Roadster's channel 3 on vintage mode but with more range and versatility.

Sounds cool

Here is a nice vid of clean and low gain tones.
Versatile little jasper.
Mine comes in a month.
